Introduction

Welcome to Hotel Fort House. We are committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. By booking with us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Reservations

1.1. Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of full or partial payment as per the hotel's booking policy as per Indian Governing Law.

1.2. Check-in and Check-out: Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

2. Rates and Payment

2.1. Rates: All rates are subject to applicable taxes and service charges.

2.2. Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, and cash payments.

3. Guest Responsibilities

3.1. Identification: All guests must provide valid identification upon check-in.

3.2. Behavior: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner. Any damage caused by guests to hotel property will be charged to the guest.

3.3. Non-smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms, toilets, and public areas. However, smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking area.

3.4. Non-drinking Policy: Drinking or consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in public areas within the property.

4. Hotel Services and Facilities

4.1. Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping services are provided.

4.2. Internet: Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in designated areas of the hotel.

4.3. Parking: Limited on-site parking is available for guests. The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or belongings left in vehicles. Valet parking is available.

4.4. Spa Services: Spa services are available for in-house and walk-in guests on a chargeable basis.

4.5. Laundry Services: Laundry services are available for guests on a chargeable basis.

4.6. Travel Desk: Travel plans, sightseeing, tours, and cab services are available at the front desk.

5. Liability

5.1. Personal Belongings: The hotel is not liable for the loss or damage of personal belongings. Guests are advised to lock their valuables in the room cupboards.

5.2. Health and Safety: The hotel complies with all applicable health and safety regulations. Guests must follow safety instructions provided by hotel staff.

6. Privacy Policy

6.1. Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary for booking and providing services, including name, contact details, and payment information.

6.2. Data Usage: Personal information is used to manage reservations, provide services, and improve guest experience. We do not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.

6.3. Security: We implement security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

6.5. Access and Correction: Guests may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the hotel.

7. Amendments

Hotel Fort House reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, India.

9. Cancellation and Refund

All cancellations must be intimated to our head office on phone followed by a written confirmation via email or fax.

Telephonic cancellation will not be accepted as ‘cancellation request’. Cancellations for the independent/individual room services should be made with a notice of not less than 10 days (According to Situation).

The cancellation in case of group booking should be made at least 30 days prior to the date of commencement of the stay. Please Note:

10. Cancellation Policy

0 to 10 days - 0 % refund
10 days - 20 days - 30% refund
20 days - 30 days - 50% refund
30 days > above - 100% refund

Amount will be refunded through Electronic Transfer or by the card (Debit/Credit).

Refund of amount will initiate after deducting the applicable cancellation Charges and service charge and both will be settled within 7 to 10 days of the day of cancellation request approved by Hotel fort House.
